General update: Just moved to uppity-up-Upper Harlem, where I'm beginning post-grad work as a "freelance artist in New York". It's all very thrilling and Dickensian, complete with music, dance, grubby commutes and hungry, wistful gazes into pastry shop windows. Not quite that Romantic, but I'm enjoying it so far. Working at Yale as a baroque ensemble fellow ("fellow" is a dubious title...) and at NYU Tisch in the dance department as an accompanist. Singing occasionally at Smokey Mary's this fall. And keeping myself otherwise occupied with other projects (like learning to cook... developing the new haute cuisine, to be marketed as le Pauvre Musicien).
